A very popular question at this time of year is “if and/or when will the water system be shut off?” The answer to this is in Mother Nature’s hands. If we see an Arctic front in the long term forecast, then we will initiate a blow down of the water lines. Once we have done this in the winter, we will leave the system dry until we are certain that we won’t have another prolonged cold spell – usually in mid-February.

The difference this year is we will try and send out an email with a few days notice (stress “try”) so that you get a chance to do a last wash down or similar before the system is shut down.
