FALL INTO WINTER STORAGE

If you have been to the marina recently you will notice that the parking lots are filling with boats storing on land for the winter. Taking your boat out of the water for the winter allows for less worry about your boat during our rainy, windy and sometimes snowy months. Remember that marina patrons that have annual moorage are given a 20% discount off the storage rates.

Thunderbird has upgraded the power service in the storage areas which should allow more boats to plug in over the winter. Boaters are reminded that if you do pull your boat out of the water for the winter, you should consult your mechanic and you should also arrange to have someone check your boat periodically if you can’t do it yourself.

If you do plan on lifting your boat out for winter storage, let Chris know that you would like to add your name to the Winter Sublet List; Chris may be able to sublet your slip which can help offset some storage charges. Slips 37’+ are currently experiencing strong demand.
