May 2019 News & Announcements
There is plenty of buzz around the marina as we are seeing many of you doing some spring cleaning and getting your boats ready to head out on our beautiful waters. Adding to the excitement around Thunderbird are some new additions to our community.
Thunderbird Yacht Sales is thrilled to announce that very well-known marine industry veteran Sonia Telford has joined Thunderbird’s West Vancouver office. A proud Past Commodore of the West Vancouver Yacht Club, Sonia joins the Thunderbird team in a full-time capacity specializing in sailboat listings. Her love for the sport of sailing and years of personal boat ownership will assist clients as they search for their next, or first, perfect vessel. When not in the office, Sonia can be found cruising or racing our local waters aboard her Beneteau 45f5 “Northern Girl”.
If you are looking to list your sailboat or are in the market for something bigger or faster, please contact Sonia in the yacht sales offices or her cell: (604) 315-7157 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Long time West Vancouver part time sailboat specialist Tim Furze, will leave his comfy office confines to become Thunderbird’s full-time satellite broker. He will be working primarily in the southern, eastern and outlying areas of the Lower Mainland that are underserved by professional yacht brokerage services. Tim can be reached directly at (778) 241-1963 or call the Thunderbird offices to leave a message.
Pacific Yacht Systems
Another fabulous addition to Thunderbird’s service community is the opening of Pacific Yacht Systems’ new office and shop on the water side of the main marina building. Thunderbird pursued Jeff Cote and his talented crew finally convincing them to open a second location here at the marina. Pacific Yacht Systems are specialists in marine electronics and electrical solutions. They also install and service all types of communication, navigation, entertainment and comfort systems and solutions. Check out their extensive web site at: https://www.pysystems.ca/
